We are a
Role Purpose:
Lead and manage end-to-end procurement activities to ensure cost-efficiency, timely acquisitions, and compliance with company policies. Supervise procurement staff, build strong supplier relationships, and uphold procurement standards across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
General & Strategic:
Collaborate with the Procurement Manager on strategic planning and cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, and standard operating procedures.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of procurement staff.
Participate in all required company training programs.
Procurement Operations:
Oversee the complete procurement cycle, including sourcing, PO creation, delivery tracking, and supplier evaluation.
Conduct supplier negotiations and performance reviews.
Ensure timely processing aligned with KPIs and service-level agreements.
Cost Management:
Identify cost-saving opportunities through pricing analysis and strategic sourcing.
Optimize procurement spend through negotiated terms and supplier consolidation.
Supplier Management:
Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships.
Coordinate with internal departments to establish accreditation standards and evaluation criteria.
Insurance Monitoring:
Maintain accurate records of third-party insurance coverage and ensure timely renewals.
Support the processing of insurance claims in collaboration with providers and internal stakeholders.
Administrative & Financial Tasks:
Process billing and payments for telecom/network and fleet card services.
Coordinate business travel arrangements and ensure adherence to company travel policies.
Reporting:
Prepare and present reports on KPIs, budget performance, and cost-saving initiatives.
Contribute to internal audits and scorecard reporting processes.
Process Improvement:
Develop and update procurement SOPs and workflows.
Conduct Time & Motion Studies (TMS) and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Staff Management:
Supervise daily operations, schedules, and performance of procurement team members.
Provide coaching, feedback, and implement disciplinary actions as needed.
Authorities:
Approve procurement documentation and supplier selections.
Act as interim lead in the absence of the Procurement Manager or Procurement Associate.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement or a related function.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
Strong negotiation, project management, and contract administration skills.
Logistics industry background preferred but not required.
