The spirit of family, talent, and agriculture came together on September 19, 2026, as the Talentadong Pamilyang Mag-uuma Competition was held at the Matag-ob Freedom Park as part of the 5th HIMORASAK FESTIVAL 2026.

The activity showcased the talents and creativity of farming families in Matag-ob. Families came together to perform, share their skills, and demonstrate the strong bond that makes them an important part of the community.

More than a competition, the event celebrated the hardworking mag-uuma and their families who contribute to the agricultural life of Matag-ob. It provided a platform for them to showcase their talents beyond the farm while strengthening family unity and community participation.

The Talentadong Pamilyang Mag-uuma Competition reflected the true spirit of Himorasak - celebrating agriculture, family, talent, and the people who continue to help make Matag-ob a thriving community.

A productive and successful meeting was held on September 16, 2026, to discuss and finalize the plans for our upcoming Habhaban sa Dalan activity on September 26, 2026.

MESSAGE OF SUPPORT FROM OUR MUNICIPAL MAYOR 🌾

The celebration of the 2nd Anniversary of KADIWA ng Pangulo in Matag-ob, Leyte was made more meaningful through the inspiring Message of Support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Bernandino G. Tacoy. 💚

Mayor Tacoy reaffirmed the Local Government Unit of Matag-ob’s commitment to supporting our farmers, fisherfolk, local producers, and KADIWA stakeholders. The HAPAG Validation Team successfully conducted the Validation and Evaluation of the Most Outstanding Farmer 2026 in Barangay San Vicente.

This activity highlights the dedication, innovation, and perseverance of our local farmers whose hard work continues to contribute to agricultural development and food security in the community.

We extend our appreciation to all participating farmers for their commitment and passion in advancing sustainable farming practices. Your efforts inspire others and strengthen our agricultural sector.
