DENGUE is a mosquito-borne viral infection causing a severe flu-like illness and, sometimes causing a potentially lethal complication called severe dengue. The full life cycle of dengue fever virus involves the role of mosquito as a transmitter (or vector) and humans as the main victim and source of infection.

Dengue is on the rise and we can combat this by following the "4S Against Dengue" method.

1. Search and destroy breeding places.
2. Secure self-protection.
3. Seek early consultation.
4. Support spraying to prevent impending outbreak.

Let's all strive harder to adhere the 4S method and remember "Kung Walang Lamok, Walang Dengue, Mag 4S Kontra Dengue."
