🌱🌊 Two Days for a Greener, Cleaner Pagudpud! 🌿💚

Last September 24–25, 2026, we came together for a meaningful 2-Day Clean-Up Drive and Tree Planting Activity in Brgy. Tarrag and Brgy. Dampig, Bolo River, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte 🌳🧹

A heartfelt thank you to LGU Pagudpud thru MENRO, led by Sir Peps Morata, the dedicated Barangay Officials, community volunteers, HARP & DOERs, PROMA, and HAP, for joining hands in protecting and caring for our environment. 🤝💚

From picking up waste to planting trees, every little effort becomes meaningful when we work together. These activities remind us that a cleaner community and a greener Pagudpud begin with collective action.

👮‍♂️🏖️ HARP Joins Historic Milestone for Tourism and Community Safety in Pagudpud

A significant step forward for tourism, safety, and community development in Pagudpud! 🌊

The Hotels and Resorts of Pagudpud (HARP) Association Inc. proudly joined the Signing of the Deed of Donation and Groundbreaking Ceremony for the construction of the Tourist Police Assistance Center (TPAC) Building in Brgy. Saud, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, held today, August 12, 2026.

The ceremony brought together the Municipal Government of Pagudpud, the Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1), barangay officials, LGU personnel, and tourism stakeholders in support of a common goal: creating a safer, more secure, and more welcoming destination for both residents and visitors.

The event was honored by the presence of PBGEN Jovencio S. Badua Jr., Regional Director of PRO1, who served as Keynote Speaker, together with key officers of the Philippine National Police.

Representing the local government were Hon. Mayor Rafael Ralph L. Benemerito II, Hon. Vice Mayor Melvyn B. Calvan II, Hon. Rajiv Constantine L. Benemerito, Engr. Marlon C. Calivoso, barangay officials, and other LGU representatives.

For HARP, the establishment of the TPAC is more than just the construction of a facility—it is an important investment in tourist protection, public safety, visitor confidence, and the sustainable growth of Pagudpud as a premier tourism destination.

We are grateful to be part of this meaningful milestone and remain committed to working hand in hand with the LGU Pagudpud, PNP, DOT, barangays, and other tourism stakeholders toward a safer and more resilient tourism community.

📣A Meaningful Conversation on Regenerative Tourism

A brief but insightful discussion on Regenerative Tourism was held with Ma’am Susan Santos de Cárdenas, Founding President & CEO of the International Alliance of Regenerative Tourism (IART).

The conversation provided valuable perspectives on how destinations can move beyond simply sustaining tourism and work toward tourism that restores, strengthens, and gives back to the environment, local communities, culture, and the destination itself. 🌱🌊

🌊 HARP Beach Clean-Up Drive | Plastic Free July 2026 🐢🌿

On July 8, 2026, the Hotels and Resorts of Pagudpud (HARP) Association, Inc., in collaboration with our dedicated partners, successfully conducted a coastal clean-up along the shoreline from Barangay Burayoc to Barangay Saud in support of Plastic Free July and our shared commitment to protecting the marine environment.
