FLS Philippines recently partnered with Round Table Philippines, D'Robe Security Agency, and the Rotary Club of Mandaluyong to deliver a community outreach initiative at Saint Rita Orphanage, Parañaque City.

We provided essential supplies, educational materials, and shared warm meals with the abandoned babies and children under the orphanage’s care. Beyond meeting immediate daily needs, this activity helps us better understand the reality to plan more effective support for their welfare, education, and long-term development.

For FLS, social responsibility initiatives are impossible without collective effort. We extend our appreciation to the local networks and industry peers, whose collaboration strengthens our ability to support the communities where we operate.

The working life of a device does not have to end when it leaves the office. FLS Philippines donated retired IT assets to the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Manila, where they will support students in school projects and other educational activities.

The donation gives equipment that has already served our teams a useful next destination. In a university setting, the same devices can become working tools for research, coursework, and project development, carrying their practical value from one environment into another.

This exchange also shows what institutional partnerships can look like at a practical level: identifying resources available on one side and placing them where they can serve a new purpose on the other.

Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, the initiative is one way we and PUP Manila can work together to direct existing resources toward education.

From specialized project logistics to a full end-to-end logistics partner.

In an exclusive interview with Philippine Resources Journal, 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐃𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐥, Vice President of FLS Group Philippines, shares how the business has expanded its capabilities over the past year; from logistics and warehousing to consultancy, distribution and increasingly complex project solutions.

One standout example is MTerra Solar, the world’s largest integrated solar power and battery storage facility. For the project, FLS is transporting 20 heavy-duty power transformers, including a 136.48-tonne unit that became the first load of its magnitude permitted to cross the North Luzon Expressway: an operation requiring the reinforcement of 27 bridges and construction of three bypass roads.

It is a great example of what FLS Philippines is becoming: strong local capability backed by the expertise and reach of the global FLS network.

One key takeaway: workforce planning is not simply about headcount. It is about ensuring the right capabilities are in place to support business growth, protect margins, and de-risk projects.

Industrial operations continue to evolve, along with the expectations placed on the supply chains supporting them. These developments brought manufacturers, suppliers and industry partners together at the MEPZ-PMA 10th Suppliers’ Expo 2026 in Cebu, where FLS Philippines joined the exchange.

Among the discussions was “Insight Meets Industry: AI @ Work,” examining how AI is being applied to improve operational efficiency and support new ways of working. Its implications extend across the operating chain. Changes in production, planning and internal processes can influence everything from procurement and inventory requirements to the movement and handling of goods.

For our team, the exchange offered useful perspectives on how businesses are approaching changes in technology and operations. These perspectives add context to our own work and to how we continue developing our relationships across the industries we serve.

FLS Group Philippines has commenced operations at its new 7,000-square-meter multi-user in Biñan, Laguna, with green technology company Envision Energy as its inaugural client.

Envision Energy’s Philippines National Distribution Center occupies about 1,500 square meters of the facility and will serve as a central logistics hub for major wind turbine components and medium- and small-sized spare parts.

The distribution center will support multiple wind projects across the country by positioning critical inventory closer to project sites, improving parts availability, and enabling faster response to operational and maintenance requirements.
