FLS Philippines partnered with two of our trade suppliers, Silver Streak Transport Corporation and The Rigging Company, to provide school repair materials to eight elementary schools and ten daycares in Infanta, Quezon.

Around the same time, we worked with Smart Office Solutions Corporation, a non-trade supplier, to bring school supplies to an elementary school in Parañaque and a SPED school in Makati City.

For us, the relationships we build in logistics don't stop at cargo and contracts. Sometimes the same partners who help us move freight are just as ready to help move something else forward.

FLS Philippines has officially commenced operations at its new warehouse facility, marking a significant milestone with the onboarding of its inaugural client, one of the world's leading green technology companies providing renewable energy solutions.

Strategically located in Biñan, Laguna, the state-of-the-art 7,000-square-meter multi-user warehouse is designed to deliver high-performance storage, distribution, and logistics solutions to a diverse range of industries.

A new space for FLS Philippines to do more.

Our new warehouse is now entering its soft-launch phase, bringing together employees, partners, and stakeholders for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and time to connect over a meal.

The new facility strengthens our storage capacity and day-to-day efficiency, giving the team greater flexibility to manage changing volumes and support growing customer needs. It also gives us more control over our space and workflows as we prepare to take on more.

As we move toward full-scale operations, this is another step in strengthening our local capabilities, supporting growth, and giving our customers the capacity and service they can count on as their needs evolve.

Despite serving the same purpose, each Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project required a distinct logistics approach. Across Agusan del Norte, Iloilo, and Bohol, FLS Philippines delivered 108 heavy electrical equipment units weighing up to 42 tonnes, developing tailor-made solutions around the requirements of each route and operating environment.

In Agusan del Norte, purpose-built jacking and skidding systems supported the controlled positioning of critical equipment, while Iloilo called for detailed coordination of the largest shipment among the three projects. Further east, in Bohol, an additional inter-island transport leg created a multi-stage transition between sea and road logistics, making multimodal planning central to the delivery process.

Through these tailored approaches, the team successfully executed three complex operations across diverse condition, ensuring each BESS component reached site safely and was ready for installation and commissioning. The work reinforces the role of specialized logistics in enabling critical energy infrastructure, as we apply our expertise to support a more stable, resilient, and sustainable power network in the Philippines.

We welcomed our trucking partners to our New Harton Office for a Partners' Engagement and Coordination Meeting, bringing together the transport providers supporting our renewable energy projects across North and South Luzon.

The session covered FLS safety standards, delivery protocols, project coordination, and performance expectations, followed by an open discussion on the operational challenges our partners are seeing on the ground.

On projects involving multiple transport providers, consistency matters as much as capability. Everyone may be working to the same schedule, but small differences in ex*****on can quickly ripple across the project. Aligning expectations before mobilization helps keep those differences from becoming delays in the field.

As our renewable energy portfolio continues to grow, these conversations remain an important part of project readiness. They help ensure every partner is working from the same operational picture before the first delivery is made.

Every Wednesday and Thursday, the FLS Group Philippines team comes together for Zumba, led by our Operations Team.

In logistics, days are shaped by tight schedules, constant coordination, and work that rarely slows down. Setting aside time to move together gives everyone a chance to reset before getting back to the pace of the job.

Over time, these sessions have become more than a weekly routine. They bring colleagues together outside their usual roles, creating the kind of familiarity that carries naturally into day-to-day work. The same teamwork that keeps operations running is strengthened in a different setting, then brought back into the workplace.

FLS Philippines took part in BOC GPCCI IMPACT: A Regulatory Exchange, organized by the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GPCCI), which brought together the Bureau of Customs (BOC), industry leaders, and the business community to discuss the direction of customs policy and trade facilitation in the Philippines.

Discussions on digitalization, trade facilitation, enforcement, and regulatory reform offered valuable insight into how customs administration is evolving and what those changes mean for cargo movement and cross-border operations.

Our Managing Director, Stefan Schmitz, moderated the Q&A session, helping bring industry perspectives into the discussion. The most valuable questions are often the practical ones, where policy meets ex*****on, and where clarification today can prevent uncertainty further down the supply chain.

For FLS Philippines, engaging with regulators is part of understanding the environment our clients operate in. The better we understand how the regulatory landscape is evolving, the better prepared we are to help clients navigate it.

FLS Group Philippines joined the Aboitiz Group in paying a courtesy visit to Atty. Zsae Carrie de Guzman, the newly appointed BOC District Collector of Cebu, as preparations continue for upcoming energy infrastructure projects in the region.

Projects like the TVI development and the Naga Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) will rely on the timely import of specialized equipment, from battery systems to transformers and other grid components. Establishing an open line of communication with the District Collector's office now helps ensure customs processes are aligned before those shipments begin moving.

For FLS Philippines, this is part of the work behind every successful project. Moving cargo is only one piece of it. Staying connected with the authorities involved helps keep cargo moving compliantly and gives projects a stronger foundation from the start.
