Taiwan has officially extended its 14-day visa-free entry program for Philippine passport holders until July 31, 2027. The extension takes effect on August 1, 2026, and is an extension of reciprocity privileges.

For your visa-free entry, you must meet the following baseline requirements:

> A Philippine passport valid for at least 6 months upon your date of arrival.

>A confirmed return or onward flight/ferry ticket.Proof of accommodation and sufficient funds for your stay.

Stays are strictly capped at 14 days and cannot be directly extended or converted into a regular tourist visa while you are inside Taiwan.

If you are a resident of the Philippines but hold a different nationality, or if you plan to stay beyond 14 days, you may need to apply for a standard Taiwan visitor visa.
