📦 WOODEN CRATE OR PALLET CARGO PACKING REQUIREMENT

Are you shipping machinery, equipment, furniture, appliances, or other heavy cargo from China to the Philippines?

Before packing, please ask your supplier to leave enough space underneath the wooden crate or pallet for forklift handling.

⚠️ REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

✅ Minimum forklift entry height: 11 CM
✅ Applies to wooden crates and palletized cargo
✅ Keep all forklift openings completely clear

Why is the 11 cm clearance important?

• Allows forklift forks to enter safely
• Makes warehouse loading and unloading easier
• Reduces the risk of cargo and packaging damage
• Prevents repacking and additional handling work
• Helps avoid delays at the China and Philippine warehouses

📌 IMPORTANT PACKING REMINDERS:

✔️ The 11 cm measurement refers to the clear vertical space from the floor to the underside of the crate or pallet.

✔️ Do not install wooden boards, supports, straps, or packaging materials that block the forklift openings.

✔️ Make sure the pallet and bottom supports are strong enough for the cargo’s total weight.

✔️ Secure pallet cargo using protective wrapping and strong straps.

✔️ Heavy or fragile equipment should be firmly fixed inside the wooden crate to prevent movement.

🇵🇭 PAALALA SA MGA CUSTOMER:

Para sa wooden crate o pallet cargo, kailangan may hindi bababa sa 11 cm na malinaw na espasyo sa ilalim para ligtas na makapasok ang forklift.

Huwag harangan ng kahoy, strap, o packaging material ang forklift openings. Siguraduhin ding matibay ang pallet at maayos na nakakabit ang cargo.

✈️ HOW TO CALCULATE AIR FREIGHT CHARGEABLE WEIGHT

Malaki ang package pero magaan? Learn how to calculate the volumetric weight of your air cargo before shipping from China to the Philippines.

📦 Example Cargo Details:

Package Size: 72 cm × 50 cm × 40 cm
Actual Weight: 18 KG

📐 Volumetric Weight Formula:

Length × Width × Height ÷ 6,000

72 × 50 × 40 ÷ 6,000
= 144,000 ÷ 6,000
= 24 KG Volumetric Weight

⚖️ Compare the Two Weights:

Actual Weight: 18 KG
Volumetric Weight: 24 KG
Difference: 24 KG − 18 KG = 6 KG

💜 JEEPNEY CARGO SPECIAL BILLING RULE

Kapag ang difference ng volumetric weight at actual weight ay LESS THAN 30 KG, ACTUAL WEIGHT ang aming gagamiting chargeable weight.

✅ Difference: 6 KG
✅ Less than 30 KG
✅ Chargeable Weight: 18 KG

Instead of charging based on 24 KG volumetric weight, the shipment in this example will be charged based on its 18 KG actual weight.

📌 Important Reminder:

Always measure the final packed size of your cargo. Include the carton, wooden crate, protective foam, and other packaging materials because these may increase the package dimensions and volumetric weight.
