Davao residents who were stranded in Central Luzon departed Clark International Airport (CRK) today via an AirAsia sweeper flight.

Through the efforts of the Davao City local government, Department of Tourism (DOT), Office of Civil Defense Region III, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), AirAsia, Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), the Clark Development Corporation (CDC), and the Luzon International Premier Airport Development Corporation (LIPAD), a total of 150 passengers were finally flown to Davao from Clark, after more than a month of staying in different locations within Central Luzon due to the Enhanced Community Quarantine. Likewise, a total of 40 Central Luzon residents that were stranded in Davao arrived in Clark this afternoon.

The arriving passengers will undergo mandatory rapid testing and stay at the we Heal As One Center - ASEAN Convention Center while they wait for their test results.
