Austin Appelbee’s 4-hour battle against 4 kilometers of rough sea is nothing short of superhuman. But what hits me differently isn't just the physical feat—it’s the humility of a 13-year-old boy saying, ‘𝑰 𝒅𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒊𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒎𝒆... 𝒊𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆.’

Austin knew his own limits better than anyone. Just weeks before, he had struggled to swim 350 meters—so he knew that 4 kilometers in a rough, open sea was impossible for him. But in the middle of those waves, something else took over. Through the grit of his ‘Not today! Not today!’ and the 4-hour exhaustion, he wasn't relying on his own strength. In fact, when he finally hit the sand, he was so far beyond his own capability that he thought he was dreaming.

Austin’s story is a beautiful reminder that when we reach the end of our ourselves, that’s exactly where God’s strength begins. Truly, praise God for this boy’s testimony! 🙌🌊⚓️
