Lolong was a massive saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus), officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest crocodile in captivity. Captured in September 2011 in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur, Philippines, he measured 6.17 m (20 ft 3 in) and weighed 1,075 kg (2,370 lb).
