The Barangay Local Government Unit and Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay San Rafael, Sto. Domingo, Albay, proudly share the successful conduct of its 1st Semester Barangay Assembly held on March 21, 2026, at Purok 2.

Led by Punong Barangay Alan B. Rodriguez, the assembly served as a vital platform for fostering transparency, strengthening community participation, and discussing key programs and initiatives for the continued progress of the barangay. The event was further enriched by the presence and valuable insights of distinguished guests and speakers—Sangguniang Bayan Members Hon. Marvin Baloloy and Hon. Jose B. Maristela, along with SDA-LGU Barangay Affairs Head Nory Balansayo and staff.

With the active participation of residents and the collaborative efforts of local leaders, the assembly concluded successfully, reflecting the unity and shared commitment of Barangay San Rafael towards responsive governance and sustainable development.

We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who took part in making this activity meaningful and impactful. Together, we continue to build a stronger and more empowered Barangay San Rafael, Sto. Domingo, Albay.

🧹🌿 KALINISAN DAY | Barangay San Rafael 🌿🧹

March 07, 2026, Saturday, 6am onwards

Barangay San Rafael, Sto. Domingo, Albay successfully conducted Kalinisan Day today, spearheaded by our dedicated Punong Barangay Alan B. Rodriguez. The activity was actively participated in by the members of the Sangguniang Barangay, appointive officials, and dedicated community volunteers who joined efforts in cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the barangay vicinity, with the special participation of Hon. Jose B. Maristela, Municipal Councilor and former PB of our barangay.

This initiative reflects the spirit of bayanihan and the shared commitment of the community toward a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment.

Strengthening fire safety at the grassroots! 🔥

Our barangay proudly participated in the BFP Sto. Domingo-sponsored Formulation of Community Fire Auxiliary Groups (CFAGs), empowering our trained volunteers to provide initial response and enhance fire prevention, preparedness, and response in the community.
