The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) advises all concerned stakeholders that its offices have begun implementing hybrid work arrangements this week, with four (4) on-site work days from Mondays to Thursdays and one (1) remote work day on Fridays.

The hybrid work arrangement does not apply to technical and operational services which shall continue to follow approved duty schedules to ensure the continuity of CAAPโ€™s services in airports, technical facilities, and other frontline offices such as the Flight Standards Inspectorate Service (FSIS), which will be operating on a skeleton workforce setup on Fridays.

Stakeholders may reach CAAP offices through official email addresses on Fridays and are advised to plan their visits by contacting the relevant office via email or telephone in advance.

This scheme supports the governmentโ€™s energy conservation efforts in line with Memorandum Circular No. 114 issued by the Office of the President, ensuring efficient service delivery and maintaining the Authority's operational readiness. CAAP appreciates everyoneโ€™s understanding as we implement these measures.

Siquijor Airportโ€™s official IATA code is now IQR โœˆ๏ธ
(the previously used code QUJ has been replaced following IATAโ€™s recent registration update).

If you already have a booked flight, youโ€™re all set. Weโ€™ve emailed affected passengers, and thereโ€™s nothing you need to do. You might simply see IQR reflected in your updated itinerary.

If you didnโ€™t receive an email or have questions, our Reservations Team is ready to help at [email protected].

Siquijor is still the same island. Just a new code.
