MEGACREST WATER TREATMENT & FILTRATION PLANT
Megacrest Water is a single proprietorship owned by Engr. Christopher Randy Esperas, with business address at Brgy. 94-A Basper in the Northern part of Tacloban City about 6-km from the City Town Proper.
The plant started in the last quarter of 2016 which occupies about seven (7) hectares property of Engr. Victorio Esperas (Proprietor’s Father), consisting of a rocky mountain beside Salvacion - Tigbao River. It has an Infiltration Well which was previously owned by Local Water District (NAWASA), which collects both Spring and River water of at least 3,000 cubic meters per day.
The raw water is treated with chlorine using dosing pumps, filtered using media filters/activated carbons inside a Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Tanks and further filtered again using 1micron bag filters inside a stainless container for a much better quality of potable water.
The plant makes use of reliable, convenient and food grade bulk water tankers made of Stainless Steel as well as High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) tanks to avoid contamination during the transportation of potable water. Water tankers vary in size from 4 cubic meter (cu.m.) to 28 cu.m. to service diffent road condition and bulk water requirement of clients.
