FIDI FAIM certified! ✅

Melcon Worldwide Logistics finally receives its FIDI FAIM certification. FAIM (FIDI Accredited International Mover) is the internationally recognized quality standard for the international moving and relocation industry. It is a standard required for FIDI Global Alliance members ensuring strict compliance to criteria on safety, service, financial stability and operational efficiency.

Melcon Worldwide Logistics held its Annual Employee Training Program last January 26, 2026, as part of the company’s continued commitment to employee growth and well-being. The training focused on cultivating the right mindset and positive attitudes as well as system improvements. This initiative reflects Melcon’s dedication to investing in its people—recognizing that a motivated and well-supported team is key to long-term success.

The training was conducted by Grace Rallos-Bakunawa, who has 30 years of experience in Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training, Coaching, and Corporate Social Responsibility in multiple industires. Traffic and Operations Manager, Rey Llantino, and Business Development Director, Mao Castañeda discussed process flow and systems improvement. In the end, Dennis De Guzman, Melcon’s CEO, reiterated the Management’s commitment to continuous improvement through similar trainings.

Four days of learning, networking and socializing with partners and agents. The IAM conference in New York City this year was a resounding success. It was, as always, a great opportunity to meet our long time friends as well as new ones in the industry to learn and exchange ideas and experiences with.

ChariTEE Golf Tournament is a yearly event of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines that raises funds for the Chamber’s Foundation’s youth development program aimed at providing scholarships for underprivileged students. Over the years, the scholarship has been enjoyed by teenagers who are taking up vocational courses at Don Bosco Schools in Canlubang, Laguna, Mabalacat, Pampanga and Davao City. Of late, a number of the 102 scholars were sent to their On-the-Job-Training.

MELCON is privileged to continually support the Amcham Foundation in worthwhile activities such as this.

Congratulations to the Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines on the success of their 1st Grand Tri-Continent Golf Challenge held last July 30, 2025. We’re honored to have supported this event as one of its sponsors.

The tournament highlights golf as a truly global sport, bringing together teams from the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe in a unique tri-continent format. The Department of Tourism has also affirmed its alignment with the Philippine Golf Experience, which promotes golf as a key pillar of tourism, a catalyst for job creation, and a showcase of the country’s world-class offerings.
