Naging mandatory ito para sa mga power bank na binebenta sa China noong August 2024, at noong June 28, 2025 ay lalo pang hinigpitan ang pagpapatupad sa mga airport dahil sa sunod-sunod na incidents ng overheating at pagkasunog ng lithium battery products.
