The Chocolate Hills ⛰️⛰️⛰️⛰️⛰️⛰️⛰️
⛰️ are a famous group of 1,260 to 1,776 cone-shaped limestone mounds spread across 50 square kilometers in Bohol, Philippines.
⛰️ covered in green grass that turns rich brown during the dry season (March to May), they resemble giant chocolate drops.
⛰️ formed millions of years ago from coral reef deposits pushed up by tectonic forces.
⛰️ shaped over time by rain and erosion dissolving the marine limestone.
⛰️ known globally for their striking, nearly symmetrical conical shapes.

⛰️ Main Complex: Located in Carmen, featuring a primary viewing deck, souvenir shops, and a restaurant.

⛰️ Best Time to Visit: Dry season (November to May) for clear skies, with the brown "chocolate" color peaking around March to May.

⛰️ Getting There: Accessible via a short flight to Tagbilaran Airport or a ferry from Cebu, followed by land travel to Carmen.

Come visit the famous Bilar Man-made forest, one of the most photographed and Instagrammed roadside spots in Bohol. The location is a convenient stopover en route to the world-renowned Chocolate Hills in Carmen, Bohol.

🌳 "Green Tunnel Effect" - the uniform height and tight-spacing of the trees form a striking, highly photogenic natural archway over the highway.

🌳 A dense, 2-kilometer stretch of towering mahogany trees, initiated in 1968 to stop soil erosion.

🌳 Cost: free admission, open 24 hours a day.
