𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧
With the anticipated surge of travelers for the Christmas and New Year travel season, Philippine Airlines is issuing some reminders for a smooth journey:
𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬. Check-in via the PAL website or the PAL mobile app 24 hours to 1 hour before your flight.
𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. Ensure that your bags are within the free baggage allowance of your booking class and declare your items during check-in.
𝐇𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. Expect heavy traffic, especially in the bigger cities like Manila and Cebu, so leave home extra early.
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐰𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤-𝐢𝐧:
- As early as two (2) to three (3) hours before departure for domestic flights at NAIA Terminal 2
- As early as four (4) hours before departure for international flights at NAIA Terminal 1
𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐥𝐲. Check the latest update on the status of your flight by logging on to our website, www.philippineairlines.com. Simply click the Flight Status tab and type in your flight details. Flight status information is available from 2 days before your flight and is updated regularly.
𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞. Always check and listen to public announcements for updates, in case there might be changes. You can also check the Airport Terminal information page on our website.
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐬:
- Make sure you have a valid passport, IDs, and travel documents. Passport should be valid for at least 6 months from your date of travel.
- The name on your ticket must be the same as the name reflected in your passport.
- Ensure that you have the required visas, permits, vaccination card (if appropriate) and other documents required for your destination.
- All departing Filipino travelers are required to complete the E-Travel registration within 72 hours prior to their scheduled departure time. This requirement is mandated by the Philippine government to ensure smooth processing at immigration. Register at https://etravel.gov.ph/.
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐬:
- Bring your valid government, school, or company-issued ID (regulated by BSP, SEC, or IC).
- Ensure that the name on your ticket is exactly the same as the name reflected in the ID presented upon check-in and boarding.
