Nine nights, built entirely on contrast: beach, then bush, then beach again.
🌊 Nights 1–3 — Neptune Beach Resort, Mombasa (All-Inclusive). Right on Bamburi Beach, with a freshwater pool, beach volleyball and open-air dining where the ocean's in view at every meal.
🚂 The scenic route. A first-class train transfer from Mombasa to Voi swaps the sea breeze for the dry bush of the Taita Hills — no long transfer drive, just a proper start to the second half of the trip.
🐘 Nights 4–5 — Salt Lick Safari Lodge, Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary (Full Board). Built on stilts over a waterhole, with an underground tunnel that puts you eye-level with whatever's stopped by to drink — elephant, giraffe, sometimes buffalo. Shared game drives included, plus a visit to the WW1 Museum.
🌅 Nights 6–9 — back to Neptune Beach Resort (All-Inclusive) to actually unwind: long pool days, evenings at the resort's entertainment, no itinerary left to think about.
