We had a mami + daughter date or as Didi calls it “a Nami + daughter date” 🤣

We went to our favorite neighborhood here in Puerto Rico - Rio Piedras. Selenas pizza has a vegan pesto pizza that is exactly what we needed!

That melón beer was the opposite 🫣 hated the taste but I am not a fruity beer type of gal so I will try a different flavor next time!

Some things get burned into my brain forever.

The way a rain slicked road winds through the mountains, salsa narrating every turn. Looking out at mountainsides covered in palms. So many that I genuinely wonder how it's even possible for them all to exist there. Doing a waterfall crawl instead of a bar crawl will always hit for me especially on a random Wednesday LOL

The crazy part is... every choice I made to experience this world got me here to Puerto Rico. Every passion I followed, every little thing that quietly called out to me that I decided to say yes to led me to a life that feels wholesome in a way I can't really explain.

Life can be chaotic. Things can be uncertain. Not every day looks like this but I still wake up feeling incredibly grateful because I get to live this life and I get to live it often.

The company. The vibe. The nature. The music. The conversations. The laughs. The silliness of life.

These are the things that make it all worth it to me. 🌿

Okay first... HOW is it already august?!?! It's basically September??? Where has the year gone?

I have been slowly but surely trying to catch myself up on here. I am in a weird transitioning point with social media in general.. I've started streaming, Sho and I started up the namixsho, I have been working on some projects here and there and honestly I'm trying to figure out what exactly I want to showcase on here and how in the middle of all that + more...

If you kept up this last week, you know my hard drive broke. It had EVERYTHING on it... my whole life. Thankfully because I post the way I do, a lot is recoverable but there were at least 3 projects on there that I was really excited to edit and share and now won't be able to. On a brighter note, I have been filming and planning to film some really fun things and now my ass is hot under the fire of having to execute it AHORITA. Sooooo stay tuned and for now enjoy these photos I made my sister take of me because I like this long skirt I thrifted at the vintage market...

Newest video uploaded to my channel!

In this video, my mom comes to visit Puerto Rico for the first time in her adult life! We majorly chilled but we also went to the west side of the island to experience Cascada Gozalandia and Crashboat Beach! We were also able to catch some bomba vibes and go to Film Nights at Jardin Botanico and open mic at El Family Cafe in Rio Piedras. All in all a vibe.

Jumping off the pier and snorkeling in Crashboat Beach in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico!

We took my mom out here on her first trip to Puerto Rico after visiting Gozalandia Falls! If you're looking for a day trip out of San Juan and want to explore the west side of the island, Crashboat and Gozalandia are close to each other and so worth it!

The water is so clear, so deep and also so calm. The sunset is also so beautiful!!

I feel that I am always saying "I feel so blessed" but genuinely how can I NOT?!?!?! This life of finding myself in some of thee most beautiful countries, being surrounded by some of the most authentic and loving people that are so fun and alive, getting to show my daughter the world, getting to see it for myself... I literally cannot ask for more. All I can do is be thankful because WOW.... just wow.

As I was editing back this vlog, I was reflecting on just how fun this trip was. Medelling always feels like a big hug form your grandma. Something about it is really healing and allows for your spirit to breathe way up there in the mountains of Colombia.

The city of eternal spring will always have a place in my heart.

Newest video is now uploaded onto the tubeeee! This week we are diving into all things MEDELLIN!

We went back to medellin, colombia to retrieve our suitcases but we ended up doing so much more!! We met up with some friends that we met in Chiang mai, thailand a few years ago and saw some of our colombia loves 🥰

My sister and my niece came as well as my best friend and meatball. We participated in some health tourism because I CANNOT be caught waiting for anything here in Puerto Rico regarding health - not going to deal with that headache.

All in all, it was a great time and I documented most of it and get really into the details on this newest video. I still get Medellin questions two years after having lived there so if you've ever wondered what we get into when we go, now you'll know!
