The idea for Jericho Agro Industrial Park was conceived in 2006, and launched after signing a concession agreement between the Palestinian National Authority and Jericho for Development and Operation of the Agro Industrial Park Company (JAIP Co.) as part of the core project of the Japanese government’s initiative corridor for “Peace and Prosperity”. The Agro-industrial Park is designed to be a cor

e production and business centre in Palestine as well as an export gate to regional and international markets. JAIP will provide a High Quality site with enabling preferable investment environment and transparent governance. JAIP will focus on enhancing the productivity of the Palestinian enterprises by providing land for factories, with World-class infrastructure and facilities at an affordable cost structure. Along with a logistic zone to act as an export hub to all Palestinian industry and a trade facilitation centre (Trade corridor) for all movement and access to Palestinian imports and exports with Jordan and the east. All in order to handle high quality and high value-added Palestinian Industrial products, which have comparative advantages and can penetrate regional and international markets.
