Founded in the year 2002 in the city of Badajoz, Spain, our main purpose was to extend the hinterland of the Port of Lisbon by creating competitive logistic solutions making Lisbon a valid option and enabling the city to compete on an equal footing with the main Iberian ports. After successfully completing this first goal, Transitex soon spread throughout the Iberian Peninsula where today it is a reference in the regions market. In 2007 Transitex achieved a new dynamic, broadening horizons and making of its own internationalization a natural and unavoidable future path. Using historical and cultural factors as a reference, in addition to the trade relations within the Iberian market, the growth of Transitex has been based on two main pillars:
- Southern Africa;
- Latin America, where Transitex is present from north to south, from Mexico to Argentina. Consolidating this network and paying constant attention to the market's development is the future of Transitex, striving to continue to grow in a sustainable way, as it has up until now and increasingly globalizing its services.
