🍀Tapada das Necessidades is a historic park in Lisbon, Portugal, located near the Alcântara district. It was originally created in the 18th century as part of the Palácio das Necessidades, a former royal palace that later housed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The park was once a private hunting ground for the Portuguese monarchy but was later opened to the public.

Unlike some of Lisbon’s more manicured gardens, Tapada das Necessidades has a more rugged, natural charm, making it a favorite for those looking for a peaceful retreat away from the city’s more tourist-heavy spots. It is a great place for a quiet walk, a picnic, or simply enjoying nature within an urban setting.
And we’re so lucky this park it’s not on any tourist route yet 🙏
