🌴 South Beach Food Guide!
1. Your Caffeine Fix ☕🍵
Pura Vida Miami: A beachy café with specialty coffee, ceremonial-grade matcha, smoothies, and all-day breakfast. The strawberry matcha is a must!
Cafe Bastille: Come for the breakfast, stay for their French roast coffee.
Suite Habana Cafe: A small Cuban coffee shop tucked into a South Beach hotel. Go for a classic cortadito or cold brew and pair it with one of their breakfast sandwiches.
2. Breakfast 🍳
Puerto Sagua: A South Beach institution and one of the best places to experience a classic Cuban breakfast. Order eggs with Cuban toast and a café con leche for the full experience.
Café Bastille: A beautiful French-inspired spot with everything from omelets to decadent French toast. Their shaded patio also makes it a great morning stop.
True Loaf Bakery: Skip the sit-down brunch and grab one of their famous pastries instead. The almond croissant and dulce-de-leche pastries are a must!
3. Mexican Food 🌮
Don Sombrero: Located right at the Whitelaw Hotel, this is a fun South Beach stop for handcrafted tacos and classic Mexican dishes.
The Taco Stand: A casual taqueria that's all about the tacos. Go for the al pastor, which is one of their standout options.
Lolo's Surf Cantina: A more sit-down option in South of Fifth with tacos, guacamole, elote, aguachile and other Mexican favorites.
4. Something Sweet 🍦
The Baked Bear: The obvious choice if you're craving an ice cream sandwich! Build one with freshly baked cookies or brownies and your choice of ice cream. Their South Beach location is on Washington Ave.
La Ventanita at The Betsy: A cute little Ocean Drive soft-serve window! Try the guava & coconut swirl for something with a distinctly Miami feel.
The Ice Cream Factory: A longtime Miami Beach ice cream shop with classic scoops and real-fruit nondairy sorbet. A good low-key option if you want something simple and tasty.
Save this for your next South Beach trip 🌴☀️
