Benagil Cave is famous for a reason… but a Benagil Cave kayak tour is about much more than one cave.

You get close to the cliffs, explore hidden corners, squeeze into smaller caves, and experience the Algarve coastline in a way bigger boats just can’t offer.

It’s not the most comfortable way to visit the Benagil caves, but that’s exactly what makes it feel so raw and special.

If you’re looking for one of the best things to do in the Algarve, this kayak tour is definitely worth considering.

Never seen Benagil Cave so beautiful. Look at all the light 😍.

Today we started the tour at 9.00 and reached the Cave at 10.20. It looked unbelievable 😍. Later went to see the dolphins. It was a perfect day.

This might be the youngest place you can visit in Portugal. 🌋

At the western edge of Faial Island, the green landscapes of the Azores suddenly disappear - and you arrive somewhere that looks completely detached from the rest of Europe.

This is the Capelinhos Volcano: a raw, black volcanic landscape created during an eruption less than 70 years ago.

The scale of it is difficult to understand until you see the old lighthouse standing far from the present shoreline - a permanent marker of where the island once ended.

Most travellers visiting the Azores know about São Miguel. Far fewer make it here.

Save this for a future trip to Faial - and send it to someone who would walk across newly formed land with you.

🏔️ Azores Faial Island Hiking Challenge 🇵🇹

We're attempting to hike across the entire island of Faial, from Horta to Norte Pequeno.

To make it possible, we created our own route by connecting several official hiking trails.

Along the way, we expect to experience lush forests, volcanic landscapes, the iconic Caldeira, hydrangea-lined paths, dramatic coastal cliffs, and breathtaking Atlantic views.

One of the things we loved most about Pico Island, Azores is its incredible volcanic natural swimming pools. 🌋🌊

Formed by ancient lava flows and filled with crystal-clear Atlantic water, they're one of the best places to experience the island's unique volcanic landscape.

This one is in São Roque do Pico. Some people come here for a relaxing swim, while others (like Octavian 😅) can't resist jumping into the water.

Surprisingly the water doesn't feel as cold as we are used to in the Algarve 😍.
