WHAT A DAY ! 🔥
We started the morning marking some tuna deep, mixed in with big groups of Atlantic spotted dolphins.
We worked the area for a while, hoping the tuna would come up and give us an opportunity… but they never did.
So we made the call to change the plan.
We left the area, changed strategy and headed towards another fishing ground.
And what a decision it turned out to be.
Not long after, we found exactly what makes the Azores one of the most exciting Big Game destinations in the Atlantic.
A HUGE ATLANTIC BLUE MARLIN — estimated at around 750 lbs. 💥💙
A magnificent fish. Powerful, beautiful and absolutely unforgettable.
After an incredible battle, we released this giant back into the Atlantic — exactly where it belongs.
That's fishing. Read the ocean. Make decisions. Keep searching. And never stop believing that the next move can bring the fish of a lifetime.

What you don’t see is just as important as what you do.
When you fish with Azores Fishing, you normally spend around 8 hours with us on the water.
But behind those 8 hours are many, many more hours that you never see.
Hours spent by our team cleaning, inspecting, servicing, repairing and preparing our boats. Early mornings, late evenings and days with no fishing — like today — dedicated entirely to making sure our boats remain at the standard we demand.
Today, with 4,223 hours on SENSEI’s port engine and 4,217 on starboard, it was time for another complete scheduled engine service.
Engine oil, fuel system, oil and bypass filters, air filters, batteries — everything inspected, serviced and replaced where required, using genuine Volvo Penta filters and top-quality materials.
We don't extend service intervals. We don't look for cheaper shortcuts. And we don't compromise when it comes to our boats.
Because those hours behind the scenes are not a cost to us. They are an investment.
An investment in reliability.
An investment in the boats we are so proud of.
And most importantly, an investment in the safety of every person who steps aboard.

What a day aboard GALÁXIA! 🔥🔥
Capt. Ezequiel Conde and our mate Andrea J Beuter went 2/6 on Blue Marlin, releasing two beautiful fish estimated at 450 lb and 600 lb! 💙
Six Blue Marlin in one day. Two great releases. And some very happy guests from Germany! 🇩🇪🤩
