Last week, Alpha Handling handled its first long-range private jet, a Gulfstream G550.
But that’s not really the story.
The story is what happened before the passenger even reached the airport.
It was a normal weekday with busy traffic in Bucharest. The chauffeur driving the limousine we had arranged for our client’s passengers messaged us to say they had just left central Bucharest and were on their way to Băneasa Airport (LRBS).
35 minutes later, the passenger was already on board the aircraft.
That’s what LRBS is about.
For a private aviation passenger, time isn’t just measured in flight hours. It starts the moment they leave their home, hotel, office or a meeting place.
Had the same passenger been heading to Bucharest Henri Coandă Airport (LROP), they would have spent at least another 30 minutes just getting to the airport.
At Băneasa, the city is simply closer to the aircraft.
Less time in the car. Less time navigating an airport. More time where it matters.
And this is exactly why we believe LRBS has a very strong role to play in Bucharest’s private aviation ecosystem.
