For travellers this offers a "new" major site that isn't yet in every guidebook, making it a fresh addition to your Romanian itinerary.
The unveiling of the largest Orthodox Christian Church, a story of extraordinary ambition, faith and controversy. A symbol of faith reborn after decades of communism.
15years in the making, big enough for 5,000 worshipers, over 17,000sq mtrs of murals, largest orthodox iconostasis.
For millions of Romanians this cathedral is the gift of the people to eternity.
Such an impressive sight, the colours are phenomenal, the deep reds and turquoise blues, the warmth of the new golf. It's opulent and I was so fortunate to visit and sell this place out.
Still says closed on Google maps and under construction, so like the thousands of pilgrims, clergy and dignatories, get yourself over to the parliament building site to witness this for yourself.
