Sky Fru Launches Regular Flights to Bishkek
The first regular flight of the Sky Fru departed from Domodedovo on the Moscow-Bishkek (Manas Airport) route.
The grand opening of the route took place in the format of a bright aviation event: passengers were greeted with treats and the opportunity to take a memorable photo with an ethnic ensemble in national costumes, a water arch was organized in honor of the new airline.
Sky Fru (founded in 2023) will operate flights from Bishkek to Moscow and back three times a week: Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The flight departs from Domodedovo at 12:30, with an estimated flight time of 4 hours. The flights are operated by Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
Given the time difference between Moscow and Bishkek (+3 hours), the schedule is designed to provide passengers with convenient travel planning and potential connections. The fare includes 20 kg of baggage, 5 kg of hand luggage, and hot meals on board; children under 2 years old are allowed 10 kg of baggage.
The statistics of the route confirm its popularity: in the first half of this year, about 140,000 passengers were transported on the Domodedovo-Manas route. With the launch of Sky Fru flights, the annual traffic volume is estimated at 311,000 passengers. Domodedovo & Emirates Opened Doors of Airbus A380 for Those Who Especially Value Their Flight Experience

Domodedovo International Airport hosted a test flight for passengers with autism spectrum disorders and sensory sensitivity. The project was implemented in collaboration with Emirates, the largest airline in the Middle East, and allowed participants to experience all aspects of a flight in a comfortable environment.

13 inhabitants of Guryevsky Center for Supported Living in Moscow attended the program. All the members of the group are passionate about aviation. Young people were given full passenger experience, from checking in and going through the pre-flight formalities to learning about the airport's services and visiting the two-deck Airbus A380.

The group underwent a symbolic pre-flight medical examination, received boarding passes, saw how aviation security is ensured, learned about the work of the dog handling service of the Airport and interacted with its four-legged employee. The program concluded with a tour of one of the largest passenger aircraft in the world and a meeting with Emirates flight and cabin crews.
Such test flights help make travel more accessible and comfortable for neurodivergent people, and contribute to creating a positive experience of interacting with transportation infrastructure.
Domodedovo is constantly developing a barrier-free environment. The airport provides conditions for a comfortable stay for passengers who require special attention: accessible infrastructure, wheelchairs, a separate comfortable waiting room and free parking spaces for passengers with disabilities and their accompanying persons are available.

🛫 From Domodedovo to the Сapital of Udmurtia: a New Daily Flight by S7 Airlines

Starting from August 1, S7 Airlines will begin operating regular flights between Domodedovo Airport and Izhevsk. This new route expands the airline's flight network and provides passengers with even more opportunities for business travel and leisure in Russia.

The flights will be operated daily using Airbus A320 aircraft. The departure time from Domodedovo is 15:45, and the arrival time to Izhevsk is 18:40. The return flight departs at 19:30 and arrives to Moscow at 20:30. The travel time is only 1 hour and 55 minutes.

Izhevsk is the capital of the Udmurt Republic, known for its industrial history, the Mikhail Kalashnikov Museum, the picturesque embankment of the Izhevsk Pond, and its vibrant cultural scene. Daily flights make it convenient for both residents of the Udmurt Republic and passengers from Moscow to plan their trips.

S7 Airlines is Russia's largest private airline. In 2025, it transported 12.8 million passengers with an average load factor of 94%.

Check-in With Jazz In Background
Today, in the Terminal for International Departures at Domodedovo Airport (T2), the atmosphere of travel was enriched by live music delivered by jazz ensemble "Dmitry Kalinin". The band is a participant in "Music in the Metro" project. Their program featured classic jazz compositions, including legendary "Summer Night", written by Harry Warren in 1936.

The performance was part of new project "Music at the Airport". It allows professional musicians to perform at the airport terminal.

Since October 2025, Domodedovo has been running "On the Wings of Music" project, where a concert grand piano in the International Departure Terminal is available to all passengers who can play the piano. Now, the airport's musical space brings together both talented travelers and professional performers.

Dmitry Kalinin's performance was observed by the Vesti-Moskva news team today. The concert will be featured on their morning show on July 28.

✈️⚡Charging Infrastructure For Your Electric Car

Domodedovo offers charging stations for electric vehicles at its parking lots.

🔋 Parking lots P1 and P3 are equipped with 11 kW charging stations with Type 2 European standard connectors. Each parking lot can charge up to two electric vehicles simultaneously.

⚡ On the 1st floor of the P2 indoor parking lot, there is a 60 kW fast charging station with CCS2, GBT, and CHAdeMO connectors. It supports simultaneous charging of two electric vehicles with high-speed and standard connections.

You can pay for charging using the Electro.cars app, which also provides a convenient way to find nearby charging stations on a map.

New Regular Flight from Domodedovo to Bishkek

The Kyrgyz airline Sky Fru, formed in 2023, will start operating regular direct flights to Bishkek from Domodedovo on August 5.

Flights will be operated three times a week: Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Departure to Bishkek (Manas) from Domodedovo is at 12:30, flight duration is 4 hours.

Flights are operated by Boeing 737-300 in a single-class configuration (148 seats). The time difference between Moscow and Bishkek is plus three hours.

Sky Fru is a classic airline. The ticket price includes: 20 kg of baggage, 5 kg of hand luggage, 10 kg of baggage for children under 2 years of age, and hot meals on board.

Russian citizens do not need a visa to travel to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. You can cross the border using either a Russian or a foreign passport that is valid for at least 6 months.

The heart of Central Asia is famous for its variety of tourist attractions, including skiing, snowboarding, horseback riding, mountain climbing, rafting on mountain rivers, street markets and restaurants serving traditional Kyrgyz cuisine. The popular fermented milk drinks, such as ayran and kumis, originated in this region.

Some of the main attractions in the capital of Kyrgyzstan include the colorful Osh Bazaar, the majestic Victory Square, the Imam Sarakhsiy Central Mosque, and the picturesque Ala-Archa National Park, located 30 kilometers away from the city.

🛫🎶Music at the Airport" Started at Domodedovo

"Music at the Airport" has started at Domodedovo. From July 17, music will be played at the airport on Fridays, and the artists of the "Music in the Metro" project will have the opportunity to perform at one of the country's largest airports through Domodedovo's collaboration with the Moscow Department of Transport. The goal of this event is to add a creative element to the daily lives of passengers, guests, and airport employees.
"Music in the Metro" is a project that has been run since 2016 and was created by the Department of Transport and the Moscow Metro. Since 2022, the Moscow International House of Music, under the Department of Culture of Moscow, has been organizing all stages of the artist selection process.
In October 2025, the "On the Wings of Music" project was launched at Domodedovo Airport. As part of this project, a concert grand piano is available in the International Departure Terminal for anyone who plays the piano. The new project "Music at the Airport" aims to expand the use of the piano for professional musicians.
On July 17, in front of the airport guests, the singer Nikolai Ryabukha performed two songs in the classical arrangement of “Melody of the Soul” ensemble – violin, cello, guitar and piano; Alisa Denisova gave the passengers the atmosphere of jazz evening Moscow, singing about “The best city on earth”; Lev Volkov briefly brought everyone back to the summer with the composition “Hang gliding” – a perfect coincidence with the place of action; Pavel Pikalov sang the author’s “Music in the subway” with the participation of all the musicians, closing the geographical circle right at the airport information desk.
In the joint project "Music at the Airport," art blurs the boundaries not only geographically, but also musically.
