✨£12.50 Vineyard tour in England🥂

Where: Debbie’s Wine Estate

How to get there: grab the train from Waterloo station to Dorking, I booked my tickets on
Then it’s a 20 minute walk in the countryside. I would caution on driving there as you should not drink and drive and they don’t really do non alcoholic wine.

What tours to book: so the £12.50 tour I referenced in the video is their basic outdoor tour where you get a train ride through the vineyards, learn about the grapes and get a glass of wine too. Last year we upgraded to sparkling wine for that tour which cost ~£16 (this has now gone up to £17.50). Sparkling wine makes for 3 quarters of England’s wine produce so it’s nice to try. For just £16.95 you can opt for their indoor tour - a great choice if the weather isn’t great. This one involves watching a short educational film and then trying different wines so nice if you want more of the wine tasting experience over seeing the vineyards. All these tours can be booked on www.denbies.co.uk

Other activities - there’s a restaurant and outdoor cafe as well as a gift shop - book ahead for lunch and make it a nice half day out :)

When to go - I personally think the best month is August or September, just before they start harvesting the grapes in October and the grapes are at their biggest, though anytime in the summer is also so so lovely

🇹🇷Welcome to the Turkish Riviera⛵️

Also known as the Turquoise Coast for its 600 miles of beautiful Mediterranean shoreline dotted with beautiful towns and villages from Bodrum, past Fethuye and Antalya. You can get a great experience for a fraction of the price of its European counterparts.

Last year I got the opportunity to go to Bodrum for work and these are my recommendations:
⛵️Orak Islands for a boat tour
🍹Yula for sunset cocktails
☕️Gibi, a super cute cafe
✨Bodrum city centre is great for shopping
🌴Villa Azur or Folies for a lively beach club
💕Gümüşlük for seafood and sunsets
🛥️Yalikavak Marina for upscale food and shopping
🏨Manzara Boutique is budget friendly or The Edition for a luxury stay

Have you thought of Türkiye for a summer break?

The last mistake is so underrated 😭I’ve visited the Seven Sisters about 5 times, done the hike 3.5 times and over the years I’ve learnt some things that I hope will help

The main hike runs for 7 hours between Eastbourne & Seaford but many is us just do the 4 hour journey between Seaford and Birling Gap (then bus to Eastbourne)

✨I always recommend starting from Seaford - the seafront is quiet, you’re closer to the Seven Sisters from Seaford and when you get to Birling Gap you can take the bus to Eastbourne and enjoy the more lively beach front there

✨there’s minimal facilities along the hike- one update I’ve seen in 2026 is that the Cuckmere Haven beach that we used to wade through when the tide was in, you’re actively discouraged from doing so. So by taking the long way round the beach you get to stop at Cuckmere Inn which is a nice. Apart from that bring water, snacks - I use eltrolytes from .uk or . There’s also facilities at Birling Gap

✨Up until this year I used to buy advance single tickets - one to Seaford and another from Eastbourne. Then I realised that it really constrains you time wise - depending on who you are hiking with you might go slow or fast. So now I get a return to Eastbourne, and a separate single ticket from Lewes to Seaford to start the hike. It’s literally 3 quid and Lewes is on the way to Eastbourne so you just stop there.

✨finally you do not have to hike🤣😭😭😭if you hate hiking, this is for you. There are a few companies that offer boat tours so you can see the cliffs from the sea. I went with but there’s others👍🏾

We’re going back 4th July - see the link in my bio to join the day trip
