Wonderful news! Furetank co-orders four more VINGA ships with partners Algoma Central Corporation, Älvtank and O.H. Meling: this brings the VINGA series to a total of 26 vessels.

"As policy direction and customer needs continue to place greater value on environmental performance in transport, we believe the VINGA design remains well positioned for the future", said Lars Höglund, CEO of Furetank.

Report from Sweden's team at the Optimist European Championships in Poland this July:

The team kicked off with a few days of training, finding their feel for the local winds and conditions and getting to know fellow sailors from across Europe.

The competition itself brought challenges for these young but seasoned sailors: everything from near-calm to genuinely blustery conditions. The finals tested the fleet with tricky light winds, but the team still finished with placings to be proud of.

We are happy to have been part of your journey as sponsors, Team Sweden Optimist European Championships — and who knows, perhaps a career at sea awaits some of you in the future...
