One of the first days of spring 2024
We handled a job for a customer of a boat incl craddle to be shipped to Sierra Leone fm Gothenburg.
It was forced to be sent by barge due to the height of 5 ,40 meter and limits in Sweden is only 4,50 meter in total height = cargo + vehicle.
So we started early in Langedrag, loading a barge, towing the barge to our International port for re-loading on to a mafi-trailer.
Fm there the boat will sail on a ro/ro vessel to Antwerp, transloading and to be moved forward to it's destination = Freetown in Sierra Leone.
A quite interesting job as we do cover the entire scope and as always it is important to make sure that nothing happens that might cause damages on the cargo or humans.

February and March 2024 has been quite hectic and a lot of various heavy handling has been performed. Among the things is both hevaylifts in the port and in our own location as well as extra ordinary arrangements via our warehouse in Gothenburg by de-stuffing of containers and domestic distribution to a site in the middle of Sweden were a complete Solar-Pannel Plant is being built right at this moment.
Imagine a huge farmer area were you are forced to deliver pcs up to 10 tons per pcs on very, very weak ground making the trailers to sink down in the mudd. A real challege. But that is the life of forwarding and indeed I love it.

March 16,2024.
First drives with my new toy and work-machine.
A cf-moto 550 cc.
Great four wheeler with a quite heavy engine.
Will take me some time to learn it all but it will be a great tool as well as a lot of fun.
Weather could have been better but this time of the year there is nothing more to expect.
It was truly fun anyway’s.

Well dear reader, last week was a very challenging week as far as cargo handling is concerned. In tranait fm Norway on it’s way to down under we received a used boat that turned out to be bigger then stipulated and in particular the height. Was set to be 3,60 meters but turned out to be 4,05 + craddle.
In anyway we transloaded same and lashed it down to a 40’ flat.
Some extra hours spent but in the end a happy customer.
Also we had a great lunch at our warehouse on Tuesday were we flipped some burgers and enjoyed a nice Indian-summer day.

Well dear reader,
Time flies when you have fun and I am sorry but I have not published any happenings for quite some time now.
Anyways, the pics shows a handling in our port recently of a returned truck from Korea. Good assistance by the port enabled us to offload without damages and handle to proffession.
It is a 100 % battery driven truck and indeed it needed extra handling so they made a right choise by using us.

Well after long time planing, finally this vessel is now loaded and ready to sail,
At present time a lot of efforts has been made to find suitable tonnage and manouver a smooth handling but in todays global ports vessels run in to congestion which by the end of the day means delays etc etc.
But after several months of planing this finally became reality.

Good morning dear all,
A new day is starting and also partly a new era....
Since the merger between BJORA & Borlind and Traffic Tech this is now how I will participate a number of years.
For me it means business as usual but I do not belong to the local management of BJORA Sweden.
It is as per earlier information in the hands of Mrs Ida, Ms Anna and Mr Erik.
I do participate in the lead-team for Traffic Tech Europe and function as a Senior Advicer for BJORA Borlind AB.
I will for sure do all I possibly can to support what was earlier our own company namely BJORA Group and also the future development of Traffic Tech in Europe.
I found it important to step down and let the young team to lead the company in to the future together with our new owners.
I am looking forward to the future together with you all and some of all the new adventures will be posted here.
A valid statement is, after 45 + years I do find Freight Forwarding just a fun as it was when I joined the industry back in 1977.
An industry that is future proof and will always be needed in todays global trade.
