In May 2018, STARLUX Airlines was founded. Chang believes luxury should not be the exclusive

experience of the elite but readily available to everyone. Having demonstrated a strong passion for aviation, he is poised to build a boutique airline, putting safety first while providing the highest quality service. It is an attitude, a standard embedded in our brand. We regard flying as an exciting part of the journey, not just a routine getting from point A to point B. The traveler should be in awe from the moment he or she steps into the cabin, encountering one delightful surprise after the other. Our mission is to always be at the forefront of safety and service, operating every flight to the highest technical standard and achieving operational excellence. Meanwhile, we strive to provide in-cabin service that is beyond every passenger’s expectation, making each journey a once in a lifetime experience. To care for the environment while providing the utmost comfort onboard, STARLUX operates advanced, fuel-efficient Airbus A321neo and A330neo. According to the current plan, the delivery of A350 XWB will begin in late 2022. STARLUX fleet will include up to 26 aircraft by the end of 2024. STARLUX launched its first flights to Macau, Da Nang and Penang on 23 January 2020 and has added destinations including Bangkok, Osaka, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila, Fukuoka, Singapore to its network. Beginning with routes between Taipei and southeast and northeast Asian destinations, we expect to eventually add routes to North America in 2022. STARLUX is dedicated to becoming an airline famous for providing top-notch service and to making every flight a journey to remember for every passenger.

〘 STARLUX Airlines in Europe 〙

STARLUX Airlines has officially arrived in Europe with the launch of its 𝘯𝘰𝘯-𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱 𝘛𝘢𝘪𝘱𝘦𝘪–𝘗𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦 on 1 August, marking a major milestone as Prague becomes the airline's very first European destination.

The route currently operates three times weekly, with service increasing to four weekly flights from October. Flights will initially be operated by the Airbus A350-900, before upgrading to the larger A350-1000 from 1 September, featuring 350 seats across four cabin classes.

🩶 From October, passengers can enjoy exclusive AIRSORAYAMA onboard amenities inspired by renowned artist Hajime Sorayama, including limited-edition boarding passes, baggage tags, placemats, and premium amenity kits.

Chairman K.W. Chang personally piloted the inaugural flight of AIRSORAYAMA SILVER, bringing the aircraft to its creator, Hajime Sorayama, for its Tokyo debut. Welcoming the aircraft in person, Sorayama admired the soaring masterpiece up close and expressed his delight with the final result. He then signed the AIRSORAYAMA SILVER livery, leaving his personal mark of authenticity on this one-of-a-kind flying masterpiece and officially inaugurating the Tokyo stop—the second destination of the STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA World Tour.

The inaugural JX801 flight extended AIRSORAYAMA's signature hyper-realistic metallic aesthetic beyond the aircraft, with a themed display of exclusive in-flight amenities and a dedicated photo spot at Narita Airport. Every passenger also received exclusive inaugural keepsakes—including a commemorative flight tag, collectible trading card, and limited-edition tote bag—becoming part of this milestone where art and aviation come together. 🩶

STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA has officially made its dazzling debut at Taoyuan International Airport, where aviation meets hyper-realistic mechanical aesthetics 🩶

Chairman K.W. Chang, together with distinguished guests, unveiled AIRSORAYAMA SILVER, marking the first appearance of the world's largest flying masterpiece.

The exclusive AIRSORAYAMA-themed in-flight amenities, available from October 1, were also unveiled, including boarding passes, baggage tags, amenity kits, and a signature AIRSORAYAMA-inspired cocktail—bringing its distinctive aesthetic from the aircraft exterior into every detail of the journey.

Commercial flights operated by STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA will depart from Taipei to Tokyo, Phoenix, and Prague, inviting travelers from around the world to embark on an artistic journey across continents.
