A little more colour, culture and heritage on the road! 🚌✨

We're delighted to support this special collaboration with The Intan, bringing the beauty of Singapore's Peranakan heritage onto our buses and closer to the community. πŸ’™

It's a wonderful way to make everyday journeys a little more meaningful, while celebrating the rich culture that makes Singapore uniquely ours.

Do look out for our uniquely different SG bus on the road! πŸ‘€πŸšŒ

Recently, The Intan had the privilege of partnering with ComfortDelGro to dress 10 special buses in Peranakan-inspired designs. These aren't ordinary buses. They provide an important service to wheelchair users, brin...

Some goodbyes are harder than others. πŸ’™

Yesterday, 31 August, was Mr Seah Poh Yeen’s last day as CEO of ComfortDelGro Bus and Ming Chuan. We came together over lunch in the office to give a much loved leader the send off he deserves.

There was a lovely moment too. Our CEO designate, Mr Goh Kok Wee, invited Mr Seah to unveil the signboard and officiate the opening of our new meeting booth and retro style pantry. These are spaces made for exactly what Mr Seah always believed in: bringing our people together. Mr Goh also presented him with a token of our heartfelt appreciation. πŸ™

And then Mr Seah went around to personally say goodbye to our staff, warm and gracious right to the very end. That’s just who he is. ❀️

Thank you, Mr Seah, for everything. For your leadership, your vision, and the family you helped build here. You’ll always be part of it.

Wishing you health, happiness, and every joy in this exciting next chapter. πŸŽ‰

🚍 A Reality Check on Safety and Well-being

Our bus crew serving the International French School and Brighton College (Singapore) recently stepped away from their daily routines to learn, reflect and reconnect with what matters most: keeping themselves and the children in their care safe.

The Traffic Police joined us to share real-life traffic cases, footage of near misses and accidents, as well as the latest road safety updates. It was a timely reminder that even after years, or decades, behind the wheel, there is always something worth revisiting.

Experience is valuable, but familiarity can sometimes allow complacency to quietly set in. We should never wait for an accident to become our wake-up call.

The conversation went beyond the road. Our training team took the crew through child safety, reinforcing how calm and responsible action helps protect both the children and the crew when concerns arise.

The Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) closed the session with a sharing on health and well-being for our senior crew.

Simple conversations, but important ones. Our crew do more than complete a route. Every day, they carry the trust of children, families and schools. πŸ’™

When safety and care are involved, there is no graduation from learning.

Thank you to SI Sharon Zheng from the Traffic Police and Eileen Lim from AIC for joining us and sharing their expertise.

You can buy better buses. You can build better systems. But you can't install heartware. πŸ’™
Meet our Bus Captain Sua Tock Hai β€” "Uncle Sua."

On 19 August, he was driving the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital shuttle when he spotted two visually impaired patients struggling with some parked bicycles blocking their way at Yishun MRT.

He could have just driven off. Instead, he stopped the bus, got off, cleared the bicycles, and walked the two of them about 50 metres to make sure they were safe β€” before returning to finish his route. 🚌
The touching part? We only found out because another passenger was so moved that they wrote in to praise him. πŸ₯Ή

This is heartware. It's not about the bus or the technology β€” it's about genuinely caring for the people we carry. And it's something our Bus Captains show every single day.
Because we're not just moving passengers. We're caring for people. ❀️

Thank you, Uncle Sua. We're so proud of you. πŸ™Œ

How do you become a safer bus driver? Sometimes, by watching what went wrong. 🚌

On 25 July, our Bus Captains gathered at NUS for our Quarterly Site Safety & Service Meeting. We talked customer service, SOPs and operations β€” but the part that really hit home was watching videos of past incidents together.

It got everyone talking honestly about the tricky spots around the NUS campus β€” the blind corners, the busy crossings β€” and sharing how they each handle them safely. πŸ™Œ

NUS even threw in a pop quiz at the end to keep everyone sharp! πŸ˜„

Sessions like these are where our safety culture is really built β€” one shared lesson at a time. Because every journey our passengers take should be a safe one. πŸ’™

Ever wondered what goes into getting a passenger in a wheelchair safely onto a bus? πŸšŒβ™Ώ

There's a lot more to it than you'd think β€” and today our team spent the day getting it right.

The most important part? Securing the wheelchair. It has to be locked down properly, every single time. Even a slightly loose securing is a hazard β€” one hard brake or sharp turn and it becomes dangerous. Done right, it's the difference between a safe journey and a risky one. So we drill it until it's second nature. βœ…

This was a "train-the-trainer" session, so everyone here today goes on to teach their own teams β€” which means safer journeys for so many more passengers. πŸ™Œ

Because for us, every transfer isn't just a procedure. It's about keeping people safe and treating them with dignity. πŸ’™

πŸŽ‰ What a night to remember! πŸŽ‰
This week, the ComfortDelGro Bus family gathered for a heartfelt dinner to celebrate two very special people as they begin their well-deserved retirements β€” our CEO, Seah Poh Yeen, and our dear Evelyn Pang! πŸ’™

Oh, the laughter that filled the room. πŸ˜„ We reminisced about the tough days, the crazy-long nights, the deadlines we somehow always managed to hit β€” and honestly, we couldn't stop smiling at how far we've come together. πŸ₯Ή

This is what makes CDGB special. πŸ™Œ We're a family that drops everything for one another, gives up our own time without a second thought, and pulls together no matter how tough things get. That's our People-First spirit β€” and tonight was living proof of it. ❀️

How adorable were the personalised caricatures on the table too? 😍 Complete with our very own CDGB bus! Little touches like these show just how much love went into this evening.

Both Poh Yeen and Evelyn were presented with retirement gifts 🎁 β€” a small token for two people who gave us so much more than words can say.

Poh Yeen and Evelyn, thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the legacy you leave behind. 🌟 You'll always have a seat at our table. Wishing you health, happiness, and endless joy in this exciting new chapter ahead! πŸ₯‚

Once family, always family. πŸ’™

πŸŽ‰ Happy 23 years β€” and happy birthday β€” to our dear Evelyn! πŸŽ‚πŸ’™

What a day. πŸ₯Ή This week, the whole ComfortDelGro Bus family squeezed into the office for a luncheon to celebrate someone very close to our hearts β€” Evelyn Pang. And since her birthday was around the corner, we made it a double celebration! 🎈
23 years. Think about that. 🚌 Evelyn has been with us through it all β€” the early school runs, the Paralympics, the National Day Parades, the Elections, right up to the Singapore Airshow 2026. Big days, long days, hard days… she was there for every one of them, always with that calm smile and a helping hand. πŸ™Œ

But honestly? It's not the events we'll remember most. It's Evelyn. Her kindness. The way she looked out for everyone. The little things she did that made this place feel like home. ❀️

A heartfelt thank-you to our CEO, Seah Poh Yeen, for presenting Evelyn with a memento β€” a small keepsake for a lifetime of memories, and our way of saying: thank you, from all of us. πŸ†

Evelyn, you're not just leaving a job β€” you're leaving a piece of your heart here, and taking a piece of ours with you. πŸ₯° Happy birthday, happy retirement, and happy everything ahead. Go enjoy every moment β€” you've more than earned it! 🌸
Once family, always family. πŸ’™

πŸ’™ Service from the Heart 🌿

This year at the Singapore Garden Festival 2026, we did something a little different. 🚐
ComfortDelGro Bus wasn't there for the usual bus transportation… instead, we were proud to provide Wheelchair Accessible Bus (WAB) transport. β™Ώ

Yes, you read that right β€” Wheelchair Accessible Buses! β™Ώ

For almost a week, our team had the honour of serving around 33 organisations across a total of 235 trips, giving their members the chance to soak in the beauty, colours, and joy of the festival. 🌸🌳

Every ramp lowered, every hand extended, every warm smile from our Bus Captains and ground crew β€” all part of our promise to connect everyone to the people and places that matter. πŸ’™

Thank you for trusting ComfortDelGro Bus. This one truly came from the heart. πŸ™
