A more modern way of securing the filter cap is to simply straps the cap to the bottom of the filter holder, as shown in the video.

Quick tip: How to secure your filter caps properly

We sometimes hear from users that the filter caps come loose or fall off. After looking into it, we found a common misunderstanding about how the rubber bands should be used.

❌ Left photo: One rubber band holding both caps. This is not secure. When the mask opens, the tension direction changes and the band can loosen.

✅ Right photo: Use one rubber band for each cap. This keeps each cap secured independently, so the mask opening does not affect the tension. Much more secure.

Please keep this in mind whenever you change your rubber bands or filters. If unsure, follow the right-side example.
