GATEWAY TO NEW HORIZONS: AAL IN TRINCOMALEE
AAL Shipping has completed its maiden port call in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka, delivering 64,000 FRT of wind farm components across two sailings from China.

Despite challenging monsoon conditions, AAL Bangkok and AAL Nanjing successfully completed two complex discharge operations, supporting the delivery of ten complete wind turbines for the 50MW HayWind Mannar Wind Farm.

GATEWAY TO GROWTH: AAL'S MAIDEN CALL IN TRINCOMALEE
AAL Shipping has successfully completed its first-ever port call in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka, establishing a new project cargo gateway into the country while delivering critical wind energy components for the HayWind Mannar Wind Farm project.

Across two sailings, 19,000 dwt S-Class vessels AAL Bangkok and AAL Nanjing transported 64,000 FRT of wind farm components from China, supporting Sri Lanka's ambitious renewable energy goals. With the nation targeting 70% renewable electricity by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2050, major investments in wind and solar infrastructure are creating new opportunities for specialised heavy lift and project cargo logistics.
