Sillage, or projection, is a French term that is commonly used to discuss a fragrance's diffuseness, an ability of a scent to be smelled at a distance; therefore if we say big sillage, it means the perfume can be smelled from a distance. Longevity, or long lastingness of a perfume on the other hand, refers to how long a fragrance lasts once applied. For your information, not all perfume has a big sillage and longevity. This means one perfume can lasts long but dont have a big sillage and another perfume has both big sillage and long lasting.
