🎶🥰 Delighted to have Anchor Green Primary School on board as the first primary school partner in our "Music in Stations" programme! Their students' original compositions are now playing at our MRT stations.

Guided by their music teacher, the students used a music creation app🎵🎹 to compose tracks inspired by their commuting experiences. This collaboration showcased how student creativity can be meaningfully integrated into our stations, adding a thoughtful and uplifting touch to everyday journeys. 🌟🤩

So the next time you're travelling on the 🚉 North East Line or passing through these Downtown Line stations (Cashew, Tan Kah Kee, Stevens, Promenade, Ubi, Bedok Reservoir, Tampines West and Hume), do keep a ear out for the music created by these 12 talented students! 🌞

🚌✨ From 2027, new local Bus Captains can look forward to higher starting salaries and sign-on bonuses in their first year of service. Existing Bus Captains will also receive a salary adjustment in recognition of their contributions.

Mr Jeffrey Sim, Group CEO of SBS Transit, said: "Our Bus Captains play an essential role in keeping Singapore moving every day. We welcome this meaningful move, which supports efforts to attract more Singaporeans to the profession and grow a strong local core of Bus Captains for the long term. We remain committed to providing flexible work arrangements, childcare support for eligible employees, industry-competitive incentives and bonuses, and job stability as part of a supportive work environment.

Who says that MRT stations are just for commuting? 🚉

Last weekend, our Wellness Village at Downtown Line Tampines Station transformed into a mini concert as the musical duo, Sheng Li and Karyn, hosted a fun and interactive 'Play and Sing Like a Pro' workshop! 🎶🎤

Armed with a smart guitar and microphone, participants of all ages unlocked their inner musicians, singing, strumming, and making the space come alive with laughter, music and good vibes. Volunteers were also on hand to guide participants in trying out the smart guitar. 🎸✨

🤝 We're delighted to collaborate with this amazing team to bring music right into our Wellness Village, showing that MRT stations can be more than just transit points, but also spaces where communities connect, friendships blossom and joyful memories are made.

📅 Missed this session? No worries! The 'Play and Sing Like a Pro' workshop will be held monthly at the Wellness Village, with the next session happening on 27 June, 12pm to 2.30pm.🎵 Come on down to enjoy the music and jam together with us!

"Hold on firmly to the grab poles and hand grips at all times, especially when the bus is moving!" 🚌

This was one of the simple but crucial bus safety tips 🫶 we shared with visitors during the Singapore Road Safety Month 2026 Carnival. 🎈

Organised by the Singapore Road Safety Council and Singapore Police Force at Our Tampines Hub, the event brought together the community, partners and road users to champion safer roads for all. ✨

We were honoured to welcome Guest of Honour, Ms Sim Ann 沈颖, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs, to our booth, where we shared how SBS Transit leverages technology and training to enhance safety 🤝 for our passengers, Bus Captains and fellow road users.

Visitors tried out iSMART, our mixed reality training simulator that allows Bus Captains to practise their customer service skills in an immersive environment. 🚍They also had the chance to sit in the Bus Captain’s seat to experience the blind spots of the bus, gaining a better understanding of why keeping a safe distance from buses matters.

We’re glad to be part of this meaningful event and to impart important road and bus safety reminders in a fun and engaging way. Together, we can all play our part in making every journey a safer and more pleasant one. 🧡

The carnival runs for one more day, so come by our booth, and we'll be delighted to share more with you. 🎉

Huge thanks to everyone who participated in our sustainability workshops 🌱 at Beauty World and Sengkang MRT Station earlier this month! 🙏

Together, we transformed everyday materials such as fabric scraps and used beverage cartons into chic and unique coasters. These hands-on sessions showed that upcycling can be simple, practical and incredibly fun too! 😍

It was encouraging to see commuters, families and children stopping by to get creative and take part in the coaster-making workshops. One especially heartwarming moment was seeing a pair of siblings carefully craft coasters for their mother, complete with a sweet "Happy Mother's Day" message that added a meaningful personal touch to the activity. 🏵️❤️

We truly appreciate everyone who supported this initiative. Do look out for more eco-friendly and community activities at our transport spaces in the future!
