We at Ship Supplies Direct (SSD), are delighted to share that we have signed an MOU with F-Drones to work hand in hand in shaping the future of last mile deliveries to ships.
At SSD, we champion the use of digital technology to enhance and transform the marine logistics industry. As a leading supply chain orchestration platform, SSD is constantly on the lookout to work with companies that have innovative transport solutions. By adopting new technologies, we ensure that our clients are experiencing the most efficient, simplified operational processes, thereby enjoying greater convenience and cost savings.
F-Drones, an aerial transportation service for maritime logistics, helps us do just that. They can make shore-to-ship deliveries cheaper, faster and greener. We are excited to work with the first drone company in Singapore to commence commercial Beyond-Visual-Line-of-Sight (BVLOS) drone deliveries. SSD is committed in using our knowledge of supply chain management, trucking, warehousing services, and administrative support in documentation, billings, to help F-Drones integrate seamlessly into the maritime logistics supply chain.
Understanding the intricacies and complexities of the marine logistics supply chain, Nicolas Ang, CEO of F-Drones, commented, “We are excited to work with SSD, an innovative company like ourselves, to bring a more efficient alternative of last mile delivery to vessels. F-drones can leverage SSD’s rich knowledge in Singapore’s maritime ecosystem and allow F-drones to focus on its drone technology development.”
With regards to the partnership with SSD and F-Drones, Eric Chean, SSD’s CEO mentioned that “we are happy to be in collaboration with a company that has a common vision to transform the maritime industry and we see tremendous synergy between SSD and F-Drones. SSD looks forward to offering F-Drones aerial delivery services as part of our supply chain suite of services.”
