Parisienne Cabaret Vibes
Get the burger for two with two drinks and free flow fries.
The burger is smaller portion, so it’s doable for one if hungry.
I much prefer the beef over fish.

Both the lobster bisque and prawn aglio olio were decent, not too rich. As usual can have less salt on the seafood meat.

Found egg3 when it was at Erskine Rd around 2006, followed them thru Cineleisure, Mandarin Gallery, The Cathay, East Coast Rd, Joo Chiat Rd ,where its retail shop closed 1+year ago.
Travelled all the way today to West Coast and stocked up the bottoms, top and a hairband🤭
Can’t tell this is a hdb flat yah.

This has most of the typical Spanish tapas and mains.
I generally find tapas on the salty side and I’m happy that it isn’t so at Sabor.
I enjoyed the Spanish tortilla (omelette which had generous potatoes and cheese within and the beetroot gave it a balanced taste of otherwise savoury flavour). With that I decided against croquette as it would be too much potatoes.
We then had the pardon peppers which I felt was overcooked. Next came the fried calamari which was decent.
My favourite was the grilled barramundi, very soft and flavourful with the mash potato and picon sauce. I wish it came with asparagus instead of padron peppers. We then ended with a decent grilled pineapple with yoghurt and honey.

I would return to try the breads and other tapas and mains.

The Buddhist Lodge
Had wanted to visit this whenever I head to New Bahru. Finally visited today to see how gold and red it is. Nice!

Factory at New Bahru
Newly opened with pop up and anchor tenants.
Dumpling Darlings occupies quite a substantial space at level 1, away from the food court concept of the other eateries.
We had Mala Dumplings which is like 红油抄手, XO Prawn Tobiko with 溏心蛋noodle, vinegared bean sprouts, lychee osmanthus pu er tea and jasmine blossom honey tea. All are pretty decent.

Out of South Korea.
It used to be Hanwoo beef were never exported.
So I decided to dine at Drim Gold.

Price for Hanwoo beef is double that of Seoul.
We had the short rib.
For pork, we had the Jeju Black Pork Belly and a prime cut.
The banchan quality was good. I like the preserved daikon, preserved celery and fish roe with pine nuts.
I ordered a sunchoke tea which has a nutty proctor and definitely good to wash down the marbling from the Hanwoo short rib.

Meat wise, it was decent but honestly it’s try once, it’s enough. The pork tastes good with the garlic leaf.
The seafood porridge and signature noodle were good too.
Kimchi tofu stew was average.
