Embraer partnered with Mongolian carrier Hunnu Air to exhibit their newest E195-E2, EI-HUU at the Singapore Airshow 2026 static display area. Based at Ulaan-Baatar, Hunnu Air currently operates an full Embraer fleet with 2 pre-owned E190LRs (JU-8811, JU-1812) & 2 factory fresh E195-E2s (EI-HUN, EI-HUU).

Touted as the world's most fuel efficient and quietest single aisle aircraft. the stretched E195-E2 accommodates up to 146 passengers in a single class configuration and can fly routes of up to 6.5hrs. The improved performance of the E195-E2 provides transformative capabilities for regional airlines, allowing them to tap into new markets beyond what a typical regional airliner could offer.

Scoot announced its initial destinations with the new Embraer ERJ190-E2 will be to Krabi, Hat Yai, Koh Samui, Miri, Kuantan & Sibu. Koh Samui & Sibu will be new additions to Scoot's network.

TR684 to Krabi on 7 May (Tuesday) is currently scheduled to be Scoot's inaugural ERJ190-E2 service. The flight departs Singapore at 1545hrs and arrives in Krabi at 1630hrs. The aircraft will operate to Hat Yai on the same day as TR630 at 2155hrs.

Garuda Indonesia's first Pokemon Air Adventures themed aircraft, 'Pikachu Jet GA-1' B737-800 PK-GMU visited Singapore for the first time this morning as GA854 from Surabaya. The aircraft is scheduled to visit Singapore again this evening as GA842 from Denpasar-Bali.

Starlux Airlines A330-900neo B-58303 is the centrepiece of Singapore Airshow 2024 static display line-up, with both the airline & the manufacturer showcasing a premium cabin configuration for the versatile platform. The A330-900neo features more efficient & significantly quieter Rolls Royce Trent 7000 engines, a new wing with increased wing span and new A350 inspired Sharklets.

Starlux's A330-900neo are used on the Taiwanese airline's regional routes and feature a 2 class configuration with 28 business class seats & 269 economy class seats. Warm brown & natural leather hues are used extensively throughout the BMW designed cabin to create a 'Home in the Air' theme in tandem with Airbus's new Airspace cabin improvements on the A330neo. At the same time, the cabin product offers power outlets and seatback screens with 4K resolution in both classes to keep up with the needs of a modern traveller.

Starlux currently operates 4 A330-900neo out of an initial order for 8 aircraft. The airline confirmed an option for a further 3 A330-900neo & 5 A350F freighters at the Singapore Airshow 2024.

Brazilian Air Force (Força Aérea Brasileira) Embraer KC-390 Millennium multi-role aircraft, PT-ZNG, was one of several aircraft in the Singapore Airshow 2024 static display park which were towed out on Thursday night after the 3rd trade day. This airframe is the 3rd aircraft to roll off the production line and was involved in certification efforts.

This is the first time that the KC-390 is exhibited at the Singapore Airshow, and is marketed by the Brazilian manufacturer as a jet-powered alternative to the C-130 Hercules as a mid-sized multi-role transport. As such, it is powered by a pair of IAE V2500 turbofan engines which is widely used by A320s around the world for ease of maintenance and sourcing for spare parts.

Boeing's full scale B777X mock-up at the Singapore Airshow 2024 showcases the extra 4 inches in cabin width over the B777-300ER achieved through a re-design of the fuselage frames. The B777X overhead luggage bins were also tweaked to create additional headroom for passengers seated at aisle seats.

The Airbus A400M tactical airlifter first entered service in 2013, and had since provided proven service in difficult operating conditions and a wide role of challenging missions to air forces around the world. Luftwaffe's A400M, 54+03, is exhibited at the static display area at the Singapore Airshow 2024 and is a different airframe from the previous edition in 2022 (54+36).

The large central cargo area is particularly suited for transporting odd sized military & humanitarian supplies on long missions. It can also be configured with longitudinal seating and rack mounted stretcher positions for medevac missions, as well as conventional airliner seats mounted on military pallets.

The Airbus A400M can be flown with a minimum crew of 2 pilots & 1 loadmaster, with the loadmaster's station located on the main cargo deck. Airbus incorporated many design features from its commercial aircraft on the A400M, such as sidestick control and flight envelope protection to enable the crew to concentrate on the mission requirements. On the A400M, a 3rd centreline instructor's position has a display which can be mirrored to the HUD display, and can function as a 3rd pilot's station on particularly demanding missions.

Trivia: The A400M has 2 conventional lavatories located at the front of the aircraft under the flight deck, as well as 2 urinals located at the rear of the aircraft over the rear ramp.

COMAC Express ARJ21-700 B-3322 participated in the aerial display on the 3rd Trade Day (22 Feb, Thurs) of Singapore Airshow 2024. This replaced the COMAC C919-100ER B-001F which flew during the first 2 trade days.

The last trade day aerial display of Singapore Airshow 2024 was capped off with a flypast from a pair of USAF B-52H Stratofortress 60-0004 & 60-0026 in overcast weather conditions.

Air Central (中原龙浩航空) COMAC ARJ21-700CCF B-3388 was one of the first 2 ARJ21-700 converted from a passenger variant to a dedicated freighter. It is one of 2 ARJ21-700 exhibited by COMAC at the Singapore Airshow 2024 static display park, with the other one being TransNusa ARJ21 PK-TJB.

This aircraft was initially delivered to Chengdu Airlines in 2018, and re-delivered to the Zhengzhou based cargo carrier after conversion in 2023.
