Meet the hero rats saving lives in Cambodia! 🇰🇭

We visited the APOPO Visitor Centre in Siem Reap to see how these amazing giant pouched rats are trained to sniff out landmines. We went in a bit squeamish about rats, but we walked away with complete respect for them 🐀❤️

Hanoi's Train Street is iconic — but did you know there are actually TWO sections, and they're very different to visit?

We found a boat tour in Ninh Binh where we were the only people there.
No crowds, no queues — just quiet water, limestone cliffs and two caves all to ourselves. It’s called Galaxy Grotto (Thiên Hà Cave) and it’s only 20–30 minutes from Tam Cốc.
If you want something different from Tràng An or Tam Cốc, this one’s worth the detour.

Exploring Saigon’s Chinatown, Cholon, gave us the chance to experience the culture firsthand — markets full of character, incense drifting through temples, and neighbourhood lanes felt easy to wander. Binh Tay Market gave us a look into the wholesale side of the city, Phung Hung had that early‑morning energy, and the temples were some of the most striking we’ve seen in the city. It felt real, immersive, and completely different from the usual Saigon highlights. Our new video is now live on YouTube if you’d like to see this side of the city.

We’ve shared our Saigon street food tour by motorbike, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip.
Earlier this year we joined Top Notch Street Food Tours, and they took us through local neighbourhoods to try dishes we never would’ve discovered on our own. From Bánh Xèo to Bánh Tráng Nướng (Vietnamese pizza), Bò Kho, grilled banana with coconut milk and so many others — every stop was incredible.The team at Top Notch were so kind and made sure we both felt safe and comfortable on the bikes. It was such a memorable night.
