🎬🎞That’s a wrap at Bayshore! Earlier in August, about 120 residents gathered for a fun-filled afternoon at 🟤Bayshore MRT station (TE29), with a colouring session 🎨followed by a screening of 🎞️The Wild Robot, organised by Lucky Marigold Resident’s Network (Lucky C.O.M RNs).

Through our Communities in Station programme, we work with local partners to bring community activities into our stations and stay connected with the people we serve.

🚌 Two Years on the Road Together: Happy 2nd Anniversary, Jurong West (JW) Package!

1 September marks two years since we began operating the JW Package! 🎉
Behind every journey is a dedicated team. From our Bus Captains serving commuters on the road to our workshop and support teams working behind the scenes, everyone plays an important role in delivering safe, reliable and comfortable journeys every day.

We started the day bright and early with Buses Management and our Bus Captains, coming together over a celebratory cake 🎂 to mark this special occasion. A specially designed commemorative pin featuring our double-decker bus was also presented to our colleagues, symbolising the collective effort and dedication behind our JW journey. 🚌

The appreciation extends to our Bus Captains, workshop colleagues and staff across both AM and PM shifts, with commemorative pins and snack boxes prepared for everyone to share in the celebration.

More than an anniversary, this milestone celebrates the teamwork, commitment and dedication of our people in keeping our buses moving and our commuters connected over the past two years. 💪

We celebrated Singapore’s 61st birthday the way we know best: bringing people together across our network. 🇸🇬

🎤🎵From preschoolers to university students, young performers took centre stage with familiar National Day songs, while commuters enjoyed free craft activities🎨 and National Day giveaways.🎁

🙏Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought the community spirit that makes every National Day meaningful.🫶

Planning ahead matters when you rely on step-free access. With the SMRTConnect app, you can check the status of station lifts before travelling and find out whether an alternative lift is available. 🛗
Here’s how:

📱 Open SMRTConnect and select Station Listing.
🔵 Look for the blue lift icon beside the station name. The icon appears when a lift is out of service.
ℹ️ Tap the station name, then select Station Info for details of the affected lift and available alternatives.

Inclusive travel also means having the information you need to plan a route that works for you.

Watch the highlights from 's fourth Annual Contractors' Safety Forum.

Organised by the SMRT Safety & Occupational Health team and themed "AI-Ready Workforce, Safe and Strong", the forum brought together industry leaders, colleagues and contractor partners to explore how technology and partnerships can support safer operations across the public transport sector.

We were also pleased to welcome NTWU Executive Secretary Ms Wan Ling Yeo as our Guest-of-Honour, alongside SMRT Chairman Mr Seah Moon Ming and SMRT Group CEO Mr Hoon Ping Ngien. 😊

Key moments include:
✅ Unveiling of the new WorkSAFE app, an AI-enabled platform developed in-house by STRIDES Digital that simplifies reporting, provides instant access to safety information, and enables teams to identify and follow up on issues more quickly.

✅ Support for SME partners through the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC)-NTWU-SMRT partnership and the National Trades Union Congress Company Training Committee (hashtag ) Grant. SMRT is helping partners accelerate AI adoption, strengthen workforce capabilities and boost productivity.

✅ Presentation of SMRT's inaugural Safety Excellence Awards to Efficient Networks International Pte Ltd. and TNT Surveillance Pte Ltd, recognising their strong safety practices and contributions to a safer work environment.
