We are proud to announce a new milestone for Ecorigin!

Selected foodservice products have achieved BPI Commercial and Home Compostability Certifications, namely our white coated paper plates and bowls, white uncoated and unprinted paper plates, and our newly developed white foam plates.

The certificates also verify that the certified products contain no intentionally added organic fluorinated substances, including PFAS as a processing aid.

One of the highlights of this milestone is the innovation behind our white foam plates. Made primarily from cornstarch-based materials, the plates are manufactured using a conventional foaming and mold-forming process to create a lightweight and functional solution for disposable foodservice applications.

These achievements represent a significant step forward in our commitment to developing more sustainable solutions, with two BPI-certified home compostable solutions, a global first for our certified paper plates and bowls, new cornstarch-based material innovation for our white foam plates, and more sustainable possibilities for everyday tableware.

On 12 August, we were honoured to be part of Our Getai @ Sembawang Central, organised by Dementia Singapore, bringing the community together for an evening of music, connection, and shared memories.

As part of our Green Habit Initiative, Ecorigin was pleased to contribute tissue boxes to the event. We believe sustainability can be woven into everyday life through thoughtful choices and meaningful community partnerships.

Ecorigin’s Green Habit Initiative has gotten off to an incredible start from the month of May.

We are thrilled to share that through our joint efforts with 好人好事 Hao Ren Hao Shi, Lions Home for the Elders, Metta Welfare Association, and the Migrant Workers' Centre, we have successfully distributed 920 cartons, totalling 44,160 FSC-certified sustainable tissue boxes to vulnerable residents, healthcare hubs, and local families.

From major milestone launches such as Bukit Gombak Cares and the Southwest CDC Enhanced Mobile Groceries, to targeted grassroots deployments in Zhenghua, we have touched over 20 neighbourhood zones spanning from Jurong West to Tampines, alongside critical care centers such as NKF, SPD, and Dover Park Hospice.

A massive thank you to all the grassroots leaders, volunteers, and community teams who work tirelessly behind the scenes to help Ecorigin deliver daily necessities directly into the hands of our neighbors. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give back!

Proud to support the launch of the Enhanced Mobile Groceries @ South West on 5 July 2026!

Beyond standard groceries, the Enhanced Mobile Groceries Initiative delivers critical everyday necessities directly to the heartlands including Vitamin C, diapers, over-the-counter medications, and free on-site health checks by National University Health System (NUHS) nurses.

Through our Green Habit Initiative, Ecorigin is deeply grateful to have played a part with our donation of sustainable tissue boxes to close to 150 families during the launch event. It was incredibly moving to see the community come together to support our neighbours.

A special shoutout to Chua Chu Kang GRC MP Jeffrey Siow （萧振祥）, Mayor Low Yen Ling, the team at 好人好事 Hao Ren Hao Shi, NUHS, and the many corporate and student volunteers for leading this wonderful cause and giving us the opportunity to contribute!

We had an incredible time at ProPak Asia 2026 connecting with industry leaders, partners, and innovators who are passionate about sustainable packaging. The momentum around breaking new ground in eco-friendly technology is stronger than ever, and Ecorigin was proud to be right at the center of it.
