The factors that have influenced the subject of activities and have to a significant degree given rise to the company were long-term textile production traditions in the region. Therefore just from its foundation, the company was able to base

on experienced professionals from the textile production, consultants in the field of the synthetic and natural fibers treatment as well as on highly qualified labour work providing a firm basis of the company. The subject of activities of the company is the manufacture of braided ropes, accessory cords, cords for industrial applications, elastic cords, shoe laces. A seizable evidence of technologic maturity of the company is the new generation of mountain climbing and working ropes implemented in the market under new brand GILMONTE being the exclusive property of the company Žilmont. A portfolio part of the company is a ready-made manufacture of cargo lashing equipments and lifting means as well as of other articles following the customer demands.
