Most agricultural products have a high natural moisture content, so it is critical to control the humidity inside a container to levels where container rain and mold growth cannot occur.

You know about the importance of applying desiccants during long sea shipments, for example from Asia to Europe or to the US, with transit times of 1–2 months. But you may not use desiccants for medium or short haul shipments.

Your efforts are needed to show and convince the Surinamese export market the benefits of a new product that aids in protecting cargo against moisture- or related damages.
● Become an expert in moisture damage prevention
● Map the Surinamese export market and identify potential customers
● Acquire new business by actively approaching potential customers
● Don't leave any opportunity untouched to start a new relationship with a potential customer
● Report on sales performance and visits
● Follow up and report on market and competition developments

What you will need:
Are you flexible, independent and a self-motivating individual? Then we are searching for you!
● >2 years experience in sales
● Good organization and time-management skills as well a reliable way of working
● Accuracy in reporting and good computer skills
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English
● A drivers’ licence
● Living in Paramaribo and available for travel throughout the country
