فبين المورد في الصين والوجهة النهائية، تمر الشحنة بسلسلة من المتطلبات التي يجب أن تكون متوافقة ودقيقة؛ من الفاتورة التجارية وقائمة التعبئة، إلى مستندات الشحن ومتطلبات التخليص الجمركي.
أي نقص أو اختلاف في البيانات قد ينعكس على مراحل لاحقة من العملية، سواء عند التصدير، أو أثناء إجراءات الميناء، أو عند التخليص الجمركي في بلد الوصول.
