The rumors are true.
The Saturday NOTAM restricting private jet arrivals at MBPV from 12–4 PM local time has been extended through April 30.
PLUS, Miami Center continues to impose flow control during peak traffic, limiting arrivals to 6–7 flights per hour, which can potentially pushing flights into the restricted window.
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to ease this situation than encourage pilots and ops teams to check frequently, as earlier departure times often become available.
Please do prepare for likely Saturday delays. But remember, paradise will be waiting for you on the other end of your flight....
