💙Baby sharks are back on Maya Bay 🙏

👉After years of mass tourism and up to 8,000 visitors per day, Maya Bay was closed by National Park of Thailand in 2018 to allow its ecosystem to recover.

🌊Since reopening in 2022, swimming has been prohibited to help protect the coral reefs and marine life.

🦈Blacktip reef sharks (harmless to humans) which had almost disappeared from the bay, quickly returned to these now protected waters.

🏝️Today, Maya Bay is now preserved again and that's exactly what makes it even more magical.
