But what exactly is it for? And why do visitors need to pay it?

The Phi Phi Islands are part of Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, a protected natural area managed by the Thai government.

The entrance fee contributes to the management, conservation and protection of these valuable marine and coastal ecosystems. 🌊🌿

A few things to know:
• The fee is a government-required entrance fee
