Suez Canal surcharge for yachts jumps from 14% to 26%

Effective 15 July 2026, the Suez Canal Authority has nearly doubled its transit surcharge for yachts, the first major revision in three years. It applies in both directions, and while the base tariff stays the same, the SCA calls this increase "temporary," so more changes could be ahead.
